§ 25-45. Mobile home park meter locations.

(a)

Location of the water meter when the mobile home park is served by a single meter:

(1)

The meter shall be placed in a meter pit/tile located along that portion of the customer's property line abutting the highway, street, alley or utility easement in which the water main lies, or as determined by the code administrator.

(2)

Placement of the meter within a meter tile shall comply with the installation specifications contained in Figure 1 [located at the end of this article].

(3)

Those meters already in existence as of April 2, 1990 may remain in their current location.

(b)

Location of water meters when the mobile home parks have existing individually metered units:

(1)

The meter shall be placed in a meter pit/tile located not closer than five (5) feet from the mobile home or any additions or improvements served thereby.

(2)

Placement of the meter within a meter tile shall comply with the installation specifications contained in Figure 1 [located at the end of this article].
