§ 22-16. General requirements.

  • (a)

    No land shall be subdivided as a minor subdivision and filed for record, until the plat of the minor subdivision shall have been certified to and approved by action as specified in this division.

    (b)

    The layout of the proposed minor subdivision shall be in conformity with the comprehensive plan.

    (c)

    No land shall be subdivided as a minor subdivision for any use unless both access to the land over public streets exists, and access to public utilities (water and sewer) exists.

    (d)

    In order to conserve time, effort and expense, the owner or subdivider shall consult with the plat officer and city engineer prior to the preparation of the plat of the minor subdivision.
