§ 25-76. Service buildings.

  • The following regulations of this section shall only apply to mobile home parks which accommodate transient mobile homes:

    (a)

    Service buildings housing sanitation and laundry facilities, or any of such facilities, shall be permanent structures complying with this Code and all applicable ordinances and statutes regulating buildings, electrical installations and plumbing and sanitation systems.

    (b)

    Service buildings shall be well lighted at all times of the day and night, shall be well ventilated with screened openings, shall be constructed of such moistureproof material, including finished woodwork, as shall permit cleaning and washing and shall be maintained at a temperature of, at least, sixty-eight (68) degrees Fahrenheit during the period from October 1 to May 1 in each year. The floor shall be of water-impervious material.

    (c)

    Service buildings housing sanitation facilities shall be located not closer than ten (10) feet nor farther than two hundred (200) feet from any mobile home space upon which a transient mobile home is harbored.

    (d)

    All service buildings and the grounds of the park shall be maintained in a clean, sightly condition and kept free of any condition that will menace the health of any occupant or the public or constitute a nuisance.
