§ 4-71. Manufacturer—Microbrewery license (beer only).

  • (a)

    This microbrewer's license shall be issued to all applicants who have complied with this chapter which shall authorize the licensee whose primary activity is to manufacture beer and malt liquor in quantities not to exceed ten thousand (10,000) barrels per annum. The holder of a microbrewer's license may also sell beer and malt liquor produced on the brewery premises to licensed wholesalers. However, holders of a microbrewer's license shall not, under any circumstances, directly or indirectly have any financial interest in any wholesaler's business.

    (b)

    Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter, the holder of a microbrewer's license may apply for a retail by the drink license to sell intoxicating liquor for consumption on the brewery premises and in the original package for off-premises consumption.
