The office of city airport director is hereby created and established. The city airport
director shall be appointed by the city manager, in accordance with RSMO. Section
78.610.
The city airport director shall generally supervise the operations of all aircraft
to, from and on, the municipally owned airport in conformity with the rules and regulations
of the Federal Aviation Administration and the laws of the state and the laws of the
United States and rules and regulations promulgated under the authority thereof to
be enforced, and to this end he shall, if need be, call upon officers and officials
thereof for assistance.
