§ 2-103. Generally.

  • In August of each year, the airport and transportation commission shall select a chairman, vice-chairman and secretary by majority vote of its membership. The airport and transportation commission shall establish its own rules of procedure in accordance with state law, including the Missouri Sunshine Law. The commission shall keep a record of its activities, proceedings and actions, and shall hold regular monthly meetings at such times as it shall fix, and other meetings at the call of the chairman, unless a meeting shall be cancelled by the chairman due to lack of agenda items. The membership of the commission shall include one (1) current member of the city council, who shall be a voting member, shall attend all meetings and shall serve as a council liaison. The city manager shall receive notice of, and be privileged to attend all meetings of the airport and transportation commission, and shall be responsible for providing necessary city staff to the commission on all items brought to the airport and transportation commission for action.
