§ 2-26. Placing on agenda.

  • The mayor, the mayor pro tem and councilmembers, the city manager, the city clerk or the city attorney shall, prior to any regular or specially scheduled meeting of the city council, deliver to the city clerk a written ordinance and shall instruct the city clerk to place the ordinance on the agenda of the next regular or special meeting to be held after that date. The new ordinance shall then be placed on the agenda of the next city council meeting.
