§ 25-60.1. City customers and public water supply districts.

  • Water user charges will be comprised of two (2) components: a fixed service availability fee and a volume charge based on the amount of water usage, as noted in the fee schedule published by the city, a copy of which is available at city hall during normal business hours, or on the city's website.

    (1)

    The service availability fee shall be a monthly charge based on meter size. If service is for less than a full month, the service availability fee will be prorated based on number of days of service.

    (2)

    The volume charge shall be billed to all water customers monthly based on the amount of cubic feet consumed based on a tiered system. A minimum monthly volume charge equal to the cost of two hundred (200) cubic feet of water usage per month shall be made to all water customers whose water usage does not exceed two hundred (200) cubic feet of water per month.
