§ 24-40. Revocation.

Upon notice and hearing, the city council may revoke a license issued under the provisions of this division for failure of a licensee to show adequate cause why his license should not be revoked for any of the following reasons:

(1)

Failure to conduct the taxicab business for a period of thirty (30) days or longer.

(2)

Violation of this article of the city or statutes of the state.

(3)

Employment of unlicensed drivers.

(4)

Operation of business without such insurance on file as is prescribed by this article.

(5)

Aiding, abetting or assisting the promotion or advancement of any illegal or immoral activity, affair or business.

(6)

Falsifying or omitting information on any application required by this article.
