§ 24-24. Photo identification to be displayed while on duty.

Every taxicab and vehicle for hire driver shall, at all times while operating a taxicab or vehicle for hire upon the streets of the city, display in such vehicle a driver's photo identification. Such identification shall contain thereon the name, age, sex, business address, and business phone number of such driver. The identification shall be such that it is readily visible to and readable by any occupant of such taxicab.
