§ 22-36. Site discharge plan/permit.

  • (a)

    Prior to final plat approval, when subdivisions are platted that disturb an area of one (1) acre or more, the developer shall apply to the department of natural resources (DNR) for a Missouri State Operating permit for stormwater discharge. The city shall be in receipt of a copy of DNR's approved permit.

    (b)

    In subdivisions that contain less than one (1) acre, the city engineer may require soil erosion control management plan submission and approval prior to final plat approval. Subdivisions less than one (1) acre that contain unusual topographic features, i.e. steep slopes, streams inside their boundaries, etc., where a high degree of erosion could result due to construction activity, may require approval of a soil erosion control plan by the city.
