§ 22-4. Amendments.

This chapter may be amended in whole or in part by the city council in accordance with section 89.410, providing that no such amendment shall be adopted until a recommendation is made by the planning and zoning commission, and after a public hearing is held by the city council. Fifteen (15) days' notice of time and place of such hearings shall be published one (1) time in at least one (1) newspaper having general circulation within the municipality. The provisions of the proposed amendment, setting forth the principal provisions of the proposed changes and a reference to the place or places where copies of the proposed amendment may be examined, shall be incorporated in the official notice.
