§ 22-2. Enforcement.

The city manager shall appoint the official responsible for the administration of this chapter. That person's title shall be the plat officer. No officer designated by the city manager as the plat officer under the provision of this chapter shall engage, either directly or indirectly, in the business of surveying, and no plat or subdivision shall be received for record, or have any validity which has been prepared by, or under the direction of, any such plat officer.
