§ 19-86. Penalties.

  • First offense: Persons violating the ninety (90) horsepower limit and/or the idle/no wake speed limit with a boat with a larger than ninety (90) horsepower motor during council approved tournament and special events shall be subject to a fine not less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) and not greater than five hundred dollars ($500.00) and/or ninety (90) days in jail.

    Second offense: Persons violating the ninety (90) horsepower limit and/or the idle/no wake speed limit with a boat with a larger than ninety (90) horsepower motor during council approved tournament and special events, and having been convicted of such violation within the last year, shall be subject to a fine not less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) and not greater than five hundred ($500.00) and/or ninety (90) days in jail and revocation of their city boat sticker.
