§ 18-63. Littering violation.

  • A person commits the violation of littering if he throws or places, or causes to be thrown or placed, any glass, glass bottles, wire, nails, tacks, hedge, cans, garbage, trash, refuse, or rubbish of any kind, nature, or description on the right-of-way of any public road within the city limits or on or in any of the waters of this city, or on any private real property owned by another without his consent.

Section 1 of Ord. No. 10958, adopted Oct. 1, 1990, repealed § 18-63 in its entirety. Formerly, § 18-63 pertained to throwing and depositing harmful substances in streets and derived from the 1974 Code, § 16-8. Section 2 of Ord. No. 10958 provided for the addition of a new § 18-63, which is set out herein.
