§ 15-355. Registered owner responsible for violations.

If any vehicle is found in violation of any provision of this chapter for a parking violation and the driver thereof is not present, in addition to the driver of said motor vehicle who parked the motor vehicle in violation of this chapter, the owner, who is a person or other legal entity in whose name such vehicle is registered in the records of any city, county or state, shall be responsible for such violation when such vehicle was being used with permission. Proof of the ownership as aforesaid shall be prima facie evidence that such vehicle with absent driver was being operated by or with permission of the owner at the time it was parked in violation of this chapter.
