§ 15-354. Parking prohibition and fine schedule for violations.

  • Any driver, or in certain circumstances the vehicle owner under section 15-355, who shall violate the provisions of this chapter for illegal stopping, standing or parking of a motor vehicle shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation, and unless otherwise specified elsewhere in this chapter be punished by a fine according to the following schedule.

    Violations of article VII, regarding stopping, standing, and parking shall be initially punishable by a fine payable outside of court through the finance department of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) if paid within fourteen (14) days of the date of the citation. Uniform citations filed with municipal court shall be subject to a fine not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or more than one hundred dollars ($100.00), together with court costs, and may be paid through the violation bureau by order of the municipal court judge.
