§ 15-338. Designation of public carrier stops and stands.
(a)
The city traffic engineer is hereby authorized and required to establish bus stops, bus stands, taxicab stands and stands for other passenger common carrier motor vehicles on such public streets in such places and in such number as he shall determine to be the greatest benefit and convenience to the public, and every such bus stop, bus stand, taxicab stand, or other stand shall be designated by appropriate signs.
(b)
Taxicab stand signs shall be designated in the following areas:
One (1) space on the west side of the 300 block of South Marion Street. At any time such location ceases to be a taxi business, said signs shall be declared null and void and of no effect.
