§ 15-170. Avoiding traffic-control device or sign; penalty.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to drive such vehicle across private or public property to avoid an official traffic-control device or an official traffic-control sign.
(b)
Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction or plea of guilty, be punished by a fine not less than fifteen dollars ($15.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days or by both fine and imprisonment.
