§ 13.5-24. Urban forestry plan.

The city shall develop and annual update a five-year urban forestry plan and will update plans for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets, and in other public areas. The Kirksville Lakes, Parks and Recreation Commission shall act in an advisory capacity to the city council and city staff of Kirksville with regard to forestry matters.
